1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cartwise ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Cartwise is an AI-assisted grocery shopping helper that lets you compose shopping lists and compare publicly available product prices across Swiss supermarkets including Migros, Coop, Lidl, Aldi and Denner. Cartwise is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these retailers.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including scraping, reselling data, attempting to disrupt the Service, reverse engineering, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Price Information & Accuracy

Prices, availability, and product details displayed in Cartwise are gathered from publicly accessible sources and may change at any time. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate but provide no guarantee. Always confirm the final price at the retailer at the moment of purchase.

6. AI Features

Cartwise uses artificial intelligence to clarify items and select likely product matches. AI suggestions can be imperfect. You remain responsible for reviewing items before purchasing.

7. Intellectual Property

The Cartwise name, logo, and software are owned by us. You may use the Service only as expressly permitted by these Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimer & Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Cartwise is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent courts in Switzerland.
